About the Job
The Automotive Technician / Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work primarily on passenger cars and light trucks. Working as part of a small team, the technician will use a variety of tools and advanced diagnostic software to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Occasional travel may be required for on-site repairs, and effective communication with customers is key to providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform vehicle diagnostics using standard workshop tools and advanced diagnostic software.
  • Inspect and repair brake systems to ensure vehicle safety.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid future breakdowns.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair progress.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Replace parts as needed, ensuring quality and compatibility.
  • Conduct test drives to verify successful repairs.
  • Occasionally travel to perform on-site repairs.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in automotive repair.
  • Expertise in brake repair.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate well within a team.
